AYLWARD at FENTON PLACE Charlotte

Aylward at Fenton Place is a family law boutique, a term we take to connote specialization fully and completely in family law. We can help you with premarital agreements, separation and property settlement agreements, complex equitable distribution, alimony, child custody, child support, international parental abduction, and appeals in family matters. Ilonka Aylward is licensed in North Carolina and New York, and admitted to practice in Western and Middle Districts of North Carolina. Aylward took her J.D. from the University of Virginia, where she was on the board of Virginia Law Review, and received John M. Olin award in law & economics. In addition to making her sound like a geek, being an Olin fellow provided very helpful training for disentangling financial issues that division of property often presents. To help her with her writing, Aylward took a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, concentrating on philosophy of criminal law. Aylward is a member of Mecklenburg County Bar and NC Bar, and presented and authored lectures on tax, ethics, and complex evidentiary issues involving expert witnesses. Prior to becoming a family lawyer, Aylward did antitrust work for Sullivan and Cromwell, one of three top USA's law firms, where she learned some antitrust and everything about client service.
